Would be nice if Unholy could change into a Ghoul again

I would like the ability to change into a Ghoul or some Undead creature again like in beta.

But I guess it would have to be balanced for Cat.

But if we did get something like this.

Which Undead creature would you like to turn into?
I know some people like/dislike ghoul, but what would be cooler to change into?

I mean sure there's Ghoul Rez but no one uses that anyway, which is just kinda sad.

If you died in early Wotlk as unholy, you would become a ghoul for a bit. Usually just enough to kill whoever killed you.

Changing yourself into a Ghoul upon death beats Summon Gargoyle anytime.

Then again, a Val'kyr wouldn't be that bad either.

Giving unholy the chance to become a kind of necrotic spellcasters would be awesome, not gonna happen though.

If I had to chose something for unholy I'd prolly chose a lich

The name of that was "Shadow of Death" if I recall correctly. It had a blueish icon.
And honestly no, I wouldn't like that.

It really pissed me off when Blizzard removed this. They're willing to work with Spirit of Redemption (which is obviously the more powerful spell) but they drop Shadow of Death after only one major patch after it went live.

I was really hoping we'd see it back in Cata, but that doesn't seem very likely.

Maybe not after death as it would brake balance of pvp.
But the talent "lichborn" would have a visual undead effect to it - turning you into a..uhh..lich / zombie or abomination XD

That would totally suck in PvP. You're basically begging for a Turn Evil/Shackle.
