Re: Fingers of Frost - lost procs - intended?

Off Topic: This is truely the most kindest I've seen MMO-champ since I began reading this, I really appreciate this fact.

On Topic: I am going to try to replicate this on my mage as well, I'll return with results.
What do you think you know and how do you think you know it?

Are you conscious in the sense of being aware of your own awareness?

It's a known issue. Even Ghostcrawler acknowledged it during the 3.3 PTR phase and said that it has turned out to be very difficult to fix.

There's a prerequisite though: it only happens if you have specced frostbite. If you don't have frostbite, FoF chain-procs just fine, but it procs on spell impact. If you have 3/3 frostbite, frostbite procs on cast, but when it procs when the second charge of an old proc is consumed, the new proc is lost. You still hear the sound of the proc, but you never get the buff.

    That is great news Tiga.
Today i changed spec to Frostbite 0/3 and now i can chain FoF procs.
Frost raiding is safe once again! Hurray!

I am so glad we could find answer so fast. I hope i will not bother you with another topic in near feature. So thank you all again and if somebody can: adlock:, problem solved.
