When someone ninja's just make a realm forums post, I doubt these people will ever be able to find a guild / PuG a raid again.
Only option seems name change or server change -- so in any case they will pay for it :P

Who cares if the masterlooter wasn't even at the chest? If the raidleader doesn't follow the rule he set, people are never going to follow it in the future and loot will be slowed down by impatient lootwhores such as yourself because there's no consequence for peeking in the chest. Suddenly everyone could be having "vent problems" and didn't hear the rule. You got made example of.

Btw, you totally shot yourself in the foot if you think about it. Only 3 people in your raid needed the trinket, which means most likely only 2 will need it next time it drops unless the raid comps are very inconsistent. Have fun rolling against 9 people in a pug (or having the RL ninja) vs 1 person next week.
