A skilled frost Mage can out dps a mediocre arcane Mage 10/10 times. If your guild had 11 people on to do ICC, what one would you bring?

There are casual or "bad" guilds that will only farm the first four bosses in ICC, or just run toc or ulduar and clear them ever week regardless of dps. Does that mage HAVE
to be arcane for those? No, he can play the spec he enjoys, still pull his weight, and everyone's happy.

That's what I mean when I say frost is viable. It's not a dead spec, it's not a waste of a raid spot, and you can still outperform other people with it.

It's not like going into a raid pvp speced in furious gear pulling 1.7k dps and then rolling
on reign of the unliving and winning it... But I digress.
