I remember me writing something, on the thread about how Deathwing looked in human form, like "Human Form with Adamantite skin" guess I was correct ?

Blizzard did say that his armor was made out of iron during blizzcon 2009 and not adamantium (maybe they changed their minds or just misspoke)

Really hope that his armor will be in adamantium tho, using iron to keep his body together is just plain fail imo

More likely just a prototype of Goblin electric lighting, since pretty much no other race other than the gnomes knows how to harness electricity like that.

Well if you think about it, fire is ripping up his body, he has had plates grafted to his skin, it would be quite a push even for a magical dragon to transform into a normal human?

I just hope with that people will stop the stupid QQ that Bolvar is Deathwing. It's getting pretty annoying -_-

Woot more old god stuff in cata?

We'll be seeing a LOT of Old God/Titan lore next expansion. Probably double what was in WoTLK and maybe even a tiny bit more than deathwing himself (though I'm sure it will be about 50/50).

The Old Gods are directly tied to all of the Elemental Lords and sure enough we will be fighting most of them, ie. Al'Akir in the Skywall, Neptulon in the Abyssal Maw, Ragnaros in the Firelands, and possibly Therazane in Deepholme (i say possibly for Therazane because she has not been hinted at as of yet). Plus, Blizz has mentioned that the Old Gods have been "whispering" in Deathwing's ear while he has been licking his wounds and preparing for his return. Really, when you look at a great deal of the villains we have faced up till now, let alone a great deal of the lore surrounding the Sundering, Elemental War, the Aspects, and the Titans, you will see that the Old Gods are pretty much our #1 adversaries overall. More powerful, more terrifying, and more devastating than Deathwing/Arthas/etc combined.

Still very interested to see if in the end Sargeras is simply yet another one of their pawns or if he infact may be their mastermind and our final foe. Time will tell!


P.S. Grats to Premonition AND Archmage Vargoth. Nice to see he is still around and helping out so long after his expansion!

What is the problem with Warrior AoE tanking? Sure, it's not as good as some other classes, but it's still OK. It just requires a brain... :s

Answer: There's nothing wrong with it. There are as many or MORE warriors tanking everything in the game. I'm not sure what people's problem is.

The real problem is that there IS something wrong with Paladin tanking. Obviously too easy.

Kudos to the art department at Blizzard....now if we could just get that same effort put into the weapons that will drop off Deathwing....*cough*

I'm already seeing the final battle starting off with DW in his human form before some utterly cool and awesome transformation into a dragon.

Mark Gibbons (MG in the concept art) did a LOT of the best Warhammer 40k artwork when he was with Games Workshop. I'm stoked he's working for Blizzard.

Maybe it's due to the more powerful an aspect gets, the less easy they can hide their dragon features?

Lord Daval Prestor looked pretty normal despite the fact that he WAS the same dragon in the picture.
We can't really compare due to not seeing the other aspects in a humanoid form anywhere near the same comparative level of strength.

Very epic art works indeed, the elemental plane of fire will be awesome, it reminded me of Oblivion ;d. And about Deathwing's human form, its pretty much 100% epic.
p.s. dont u think that his human form kinda looks like the evil prince from PoP T2T ;d

It took me a while to figure out what weapons the rogue on the far left (Mezamete?) had equipped in the Premonition screen. Very clever.

Warglaives are getting old though. I'm not sure why they annoy me substantially more!
