Hey everyone; I need to know what frost badge gear I should grab next. Some people say the hit trinket..others say the spell power with the mana regen on it. I have my T10 4 piece bonus and here's the link to my armory. http://www.wowarmory.com/character-s...cn=C%C3%B8vert
I was thinking of getting the Maghia's Misguided Quill http://www.wowhead.com/item=50357 because if I take off my current hit trinket I'm below the cap. All suggestions are welcomed.
You're severely over the hit cap.
You have 2x 3pt talents which increase hit by 3% each, that's +6%.
If you have a Shadow Priest or Moonkin in your group, that's another 3% buff, +9% total hit.
If you have a Draenei of any kind in your group you get another 1%.
In any 25 man raid you're never likely to need no more than 7% hit on your character sheet, you're at 17.5%
I see you got Rotface on 25 man for the first time last night, congratulations! Hopefully that was a guild run, that's the boss that drops the best trinket you'll get for Arcane, the DFO.
Neither the +hit or +spell power trinkets are going to be very good for you, you need to look in to raising your haste by a lot. Arcane Mages live on spell haste. Look in to getting a DFO from 25 man Rotface. You'd be better off getting the Int/SP clicky trinket from Triumph Emblems at this point, that's the best you'll likely get until DFO drops.
I have Abyssal Rune also which adds 2.56% haste and I have the Talisman of Resurgence(I've kept them from gearing up a few months ago). Should I use Abyssal Rune and the Talisman? I have 71 frosts right now and wouldn't mind spending them on something.
Yes my rotface kill is from a guild run; we just started 3 weeks ago and have been focusing on 10 mans mostly and that was our first 25man as a guild. Thank you for the congratz and I'm going to try to get that trinket.
Do whatever you can to replace your hit and spirit with spell power, haste, and crit. 821 spirit?? 459 hit?? Drop the hit trinket, for abyssal rune. Get tier 10 shoulders, get leggings of woven death. Get bejeweled wizards bracers, or ether soaked.
