you can only queue in a group of 5 atm if im not completely mistaken, perhaps its only for random BG.

"Join as Group" is 5-player limit. Pre-mades go upto the amount of people allowed on each faction, e.g AB = 15, WSG = 10, AV = 40.

Good luck on queue times though since it will only match you against another premade. Unless your battlegroup has a few premades rolling at certain times, expect your queue time to be long.

I think this is going to change in Cata with the new rated BGs. Not sure details about it though. I haven't seen a blue posting on rated BG details yet.
