Best World of Warcraft Mounts (or Favorite too)

Don't know if this has been posted already or not, o well.
What is your favorite World of warcraft mount? Please give lots of details..where you got it, how you got it, how many times did you farm for it (number of times you killed a mob that drops a mount)., and so on...
The best mount would have to be the phoenix...but i don't have one tho...i killed Kael'thas once or twice.
My favorite mount that i have is the Red Proto Drake - i farmed the achievements for about 3 weeks, when
they were still hard to get. They were pretty tough...Oculus achievements and the Les-Rabi one from Gundrak
took bout a week to get those.

Have to agree that the best mount in the game is the Ashes of Alar phoenix mount. Even today.

I hope we get better access to that thing, or something like it, in the future. Wishful thinking, I know. :'(

As far as current favorite mounts I feel the need to mention the Frostwolf Howler. Because Frostwolves are Awesome! Suck it, Stormpike! ;D

Best Mount: Ashes of A'lar or the Black Qiraji Resonating Crystal.

Favorite Mount: Would be the 10 Man ICC Achievement Drake and Rusted Proto Drake.
Both just look plain awesome

Time-Lost Proto Drake. Shit took me like 200 hours of camping, no way I'm gonna ride anything else (No, I don't have a 310% atm)

Don't have it, but I've seen it drop (lost the roll 32 to 76): Raven Lord. Coolest land mount, imo.
