    Prot Pally 4pc

Just wondering which 4 peices is best to get the bonus, I'm personally thinking everything but the gloves. Did a little bit of quick searching before posting but couldn't find anything on it. Thanks in advance.

Edit: Tier 10 btw, forgot to mention that.

Yeah 2 set bonus looks nice IMO, I'll prob pass up helm then maybe? It's an alt, dunno how much 25 ICC I'll be getting in, we'll see though. Thanks

I will end up getting all 4 pieces, and maybe just maybe find fights its worth wearing, but I find myself switching which 2 I wear for 2pc bonus. Right now im wearing gloves/pants because of the hit/exp.

You get the crafted Pants. so your 4pc set is Gloves Chest Head Shoulders.

Unless you plan on getting 277 just stick with the 2 piece.

This. 4p just definitely is not worth it due to it being completely RNG alongside a stat that is well reduced in the current raid. But like mentioned previously, 2p is awesome.

If you're not going to do a lot of ICC25, get tier helm and shoulders, then get the badges chest, gloves and crafted legs.

    T10 Chest and gloves.

The Helm from Deathwhisper is very nice for the hit.
    Crafted pants.
    Shoulders from Gunship
    Boots from Dreamwalker
Badge belt is good till Festergut belt.

    Re: Prot Pally 4pc

I don't find the 4pc bonus worth to take - simply because it's RNG. Compared to a druid's setbonus (12% flat reduction of damage taken)... well... meh.

So... If you then consider the gunship shoulders and the craft legs as "fixed", you have three combinations you can go with If you want to achieve 2 pc bonus atleast - you have the helm from deathwhisper, the gloves or the chest from badges:

    http://www.wowhead.com/compare?items...72:51173:50968

there are the following rules (before DR):
    » 49.18 Parry Rating = 1% Avoidance
    » 41.00 Defense Rating = 1% Avoidance
    » 39.35 Dodge Rating = 1% Avoidance

therefore the combination are giving the following avoidance:
    non-T-gloves: 148/41+138/39.35+210/49.18 = 11.3867731
    non-T-helm: 188/41+161/39.35+85/49.18 = 10.4051974
    non-T-chest: 273/41+69/39.35+77/49.18 = 9.97770797

    non-T-Gloves:
    + Highest avoidance
    + Highest amount of strength
    - no hit/expertise at all

    non-T-Helm:
    + Highest amount of hit
    + Highest amount of Stamina
    - no expertise at all
(Second best avoidance, but closer to bottom than to top)

    non-T-Chest
+ both hit and expertise in a good balance
+ By far best choice if you have problems with being crit immune. Maybe the combination of choice if you also have the crafted 264 boots (no defense as well)
    - worst avoidance
    - worst armor (even if it's only 14 less)

For me, I'd go with the following:
    - T10 chest/gloves
    - Deathwhisper Helm
    - Craft legs
    - Gunship 25 shoulders.

additionally I have the boots from dreamwalker25 (with def+expertise) and the badge belt (no def). I should be pretty much hit-capped/exp-softcapped. The highest stamina completes that.

    Badge Belt is better.

    Re: Prot Pally 4pc

tbh, 4set is something you really want to have for some fights. It's an nice extra cd you can pop when heavy damage is inc.
2set is fun, but useless tbh. Never have any treat issues, so only nice for dps meters

    Re: Prot Pally 4pc

the 4pc is lack luster. decent, sure, but unless you are getting 4pc 277 it is not bis.
    Pondering returning.
