I personally.. don't get how...

1. I doubt Blizzards involved because they stated the new game will be a completely original IP.

2. CoD is already online.. I don't see people really wanting more from the game than just to sign in to Xbox play a few online matches and sign off.

Yeah. Fake imo.

My interpretation of MMO is being able to see multiple people and interact with them. Games such as Diablo 3 and starcraft two will never be mmos in my book, because the maximum amount of people you can play with is 7 other people. Whereas regular MMOS like wow and warhammer, you can see and play with three hundred people.

Please note that SC2 and D3 are going to be awesome games, they just wont be MMOs.

You realize MMO probably just stands for something, like MW2 means Modern Warfare 2? Also, it's probably fake.

Well Blizz did say at a shareholders meeting some months back that the new MMO they are working on is aimed towards a broader audience (or something along those lines, too tired to look it up right now) so I don't see a FPS MMO as out of the question.
