Putricide Hardmode Ret POV

Well I finally got around to getting a new computer and something I've always wanted to do was make some videos of me rolling my face around in ICC. This is the first fight I frapsed. It is our second HM Putricide kill. Feel free to point out the failure of not using bombs (took them out of a macro earlier that day and got lazy), getting parried here and there at the end, and anything else you catch. Always good to get critiqued. Can only make you better. Still good enough for world 5th for ret o.O. Anyways, I always liked seeing videos from people that played my class and spec and I don't see too many lately, so hopefully I'll make some more in the future for those who like to see the same.

Totally unrelated to the actual kill, but do you mind telling me what UI addon's (& addons in general) you are using? The UI has a nice clean layout i would like to replicate.

But I don't get it...you did some mistakes, you already pointed them out and they are some other possible improvements, too but you're really ret#5 on Putricide HM. that's quite a good job.
PLUS (!) you guild's fight took >8 mins. The 4 people who did more eDPS had fights with 5:55-7:02 duration.
I guess you would do some more eDPS if you kill him faster (higher %-tual BL uptime etc etc. u know) although 2 of the people above you just had a 10% buff.

I think you could be at #1-#3 if you "correct" your mistakes

Haha, I figured that one was a given. Yeah I'm always changing things around to see what I do and don't like. Last UI was completely different. This one I took a lot of ideas from Kripparian (sp?) from Exodus which focuses on pure centralization of everything. I still want to make changes so we'll see where it ends up.

Thanks. I pointed the 8 min vs 5-6 min time difference out to my guild the other day. No one has responded yet lol. We were delaying taking him below 80% until after the first Gas Cloud when we were learning the fight and the idea just carried over into the second kill. That adds a good 20 seconds or so but still, ours is veerrry long compared to others.

You may want to look into getting Skinner just for the Viewscreen modification, so that you don't have your ui blocking nearly half the viewable area. Just a thought, some love it, some prefer their ui's to cover the viewable screeen. YMMV. Also I don't think I could stand having my grid health bars be grey like that haha.
