No!
I'm at the blacksmith the whole time, "defending" the flag.
Actually I'm on the desk, surfing the web..
Every few minutes I'm blaming the team for being bad and go back on the desk, watching youporn youtube.

It depends on the situation. If i feel the someone else will come and defend it then I'll go away; only because I'm a healer, and my services could be used elsewhere.

Depends on if I'm in the mood for winning the random BG or getting more HKs.
Once a Hole, always a Hole.
Convince others to zerg BS and defend it alone or with someone else. If the enemy faction controls BS (5+ defenders) I usually leech by stealthing behind the BS building.
i take pride in defending for some reason. Watching as a horde of ally charge at me as i stand deciding which one i was gonna take with me, prepared for the ultimate glory of death on the battlefield. thats what being a warr is all about and i love it.
Usually defend and get destroyed cause only two of us stay, unless I'm playing with friends and they decide to go elsewhere.
I play to win the map, so yeah I almost always defend.

Five Alliance run to cap stables. Three or four run off, leaving me and another guy standing there. Seven Horde come from Blacksmith and wtfpwn the two of us. Horde caps stables.
Sounds like a regular AB match for me
Yes! Cuz you get credit for all node kills there. But also, I'm working on the flag defense achievement, so I chuck out of BS to try to recap unless I'm out numbered 4-5:1, sure they won't kill me but as a healer I will not be able to pump out that much damage that fast to recap that thing.Originally Posted by Ohhaiohbai

How I play AB:
Rush LM.
Cap LM.
Nitro Boost and Parachute to BS.
Sap lone defender (There's never more than 1 defender, seriously)
Start capping BS.
See as lone defender pops trinket.
Blind lone defender.
Start capping BS.
Stunlock for as long as possible until help arrives.
Defend BS for awesome honor gains.
Win.
Cap, set pet on stay 10 yards away from the flag for charge range, trap under the flag, run to one of the bushes, shadowmelt, put pet in stealth and wait for that 15k hp clothie to notice the Undefended Flag.
Seriously, just because there's noone visible doesn't mean you won't get caught capping!
depends what mood im in =P and whether any one else defends (if some one else defends ill probely stay)

Guilty of stables. Generally I'll cap stables right out of the gates, then make it up to lumbermill in time to help cap that. I'll generally stay there to defend the rest of the game unless there's a push for farm/blacksmith. I almost never help gold mine.

I see myself as a combat multiplier. But if we're assaulting a flag I'll bubble up some people and go click it because their killing potential > than mine by far.
However, defending doesn't seem rational as even if I can live through the rush unless it's a full premade team on my side you can't count on backup to arrive and I'll just die for no real benefit. Also with me behind some good peeps an assault is almost a guaranteed success.
P.S. Most experience from Pre-Wrath, Vanilla and BC. Just hit 80 Friday so gearing up and already starting to hit the "can't kill me" phase of Disc.
