Best race for Paladin

I'm going to re-roll ally soon and going up for paladin (prot with holy offspec).
I already have a pala in horde, but now I can choose between 3 races with different racials and looking for some pro tips.

You cannot be a tauren paladin yet, and therefore your point doesn't count. And while you base your prio-list over cataclysm, you forget that all the races may get new raciels as well.

I would go for a human if I were you. The "pvp trinket" is awesome!

Best for Cata as a tank, likely tauren. Healer being belf.



As for right now. Best is probably human for ret/pvp/rep. Belf for healingPvP. Draenei would make the best tanks.

You'll hate dwarves, and draenei have the worst racials for pallys, not to mention that in cata the 1% chance to hit goes away(from what i've read.

Humans are the best for pvp and dps. Plus the repgrind is easier. Also remember that +spirit you'll be needing in cata with all the changes assuming it wont be taken away.

Dwarves only have stoneform which i realy see getting nerfed in cata with all the dispell changes, and how blizzard doesnt want dispells to be so trivial in pvp. It's realy good in arena but then again, pallies are realy good against rogues as it is so no biggie.

Draenei's hot heal is miserably bad period. The 1% hit chance is hardly worth it since your shammy is going to bring it for you, plus it might get removed in cata.
