2 Arena teams

Why dont you have the opportunity to have more than one team in the same bracket?
I have a friend irl that i play some 2on2 with, but its not a good setup, would love to have the opportunity to sign up with another player in the same bracket!

So people cannot tank 1 team to lower MMR in order to boost another.

If you simply wanted to play with a friend, each 2v2 team allows you to play with 3 other people. You just have to choose whether you play with the friend, or the better comp if you're worried about ratings.
