To start off, we are a laidback and casual guild who tries to be the most efficient during raid time in 25man raids.
Flaming and insulting current progress is not recommended.

The question at hand is that we have problems with the bites, once every try we get someone MCd by BQ making us wipe. It is usually early in the fight. The big problem is how to execute the bites the most efficient we can. We have tried with an addon /w the one who shall bite and who will get bitten. They meet up in the middle and do the bite. However, during the flight phase and the bite occurs we panic and forces to bite the person next to us, screwing up the addon.

We do not rely entierly on this addon, it is convinient and helps us. But the coordination to execute the bite is the problem.

Any suggestions to improve this biteorder, use a preset list? The downside with a preset list is that during the flight phase everyone is scrambeled all over the place. Suggestions, and I will edit if needed to understand.

Just do it better? We use the addon too without any coordination beforehand (besides coordination for fear breaks) and it works fine for us. If we ever get an MC it's usually near the end, never the beginning. Try holding off the first few bites for a few seconds instead of instantly biting to better offset the timers.

Also, panicking = bad. Fix it or it will continue to wipe you on future fights.

Why are they meeting in the middle? We tend to have the first two bites always go to a melee and a ranged, and then the melee bites another melee, ranged bites another ranged, etc. It sounds like your real problem is that your raid is simply not executing. Tell everyone to settle down, turn on nameplates, and look for your next bite victim before the debuff expires. It is always better to bit *someone* than to get MC'd, so if you lose your optimal target just choose someone nearby (dps would be best obviously). It is really not a difficult fight if people just calm down and get the bite off.

There is an addon called Bloodqueen that you can set a bite order. If that bite order gets changed in any way shape or form (Death's, Different Bite, etc.) It automatically readjusts itself from that change.

Also If you're adament on biting as soon as you can, then get 2 mages to be bitten during air phase. They can Iceblock, you bite them through Iceblock and they don't take any damage at all, which reduces the risk of people dying from standing next to each other.

Managed to get this down in a pug last week (albeit alt's from 4/5 of the top guilds), just delay the bite, addon isn't needed imo.

to lazy to read all the other posts so if i say somthing thats already been said then you know what to do but if i dont then heres some helpful information.

1: either have a shammy in the group of the first bite with the second bite target in the group aswell for tremor, the totem works off a pulse so it wont dispel the fear instantly so there will be a little delay but easily worked through, make sure you have your bit person and the bite target comunicate with each other and keep vent clear. if its needed then have the bit person and the target switch vent channels to clear up some uneeded chatter.
2: the addon goes off a priority system IE whos closest next to you if the bites fail so it can even target a healer if set target dies to the bolts.
3: use a pally to bubblesac the first bolts and another aura mastery shadow aura to decrease the ammount of damage being delt because this can cause some panic due to healers shouting out who is out of range and dps yelling for heals.
4: if they arent in group with a shammy have them fear ward and make them stack in a side of the room where you lay fires or by her throne, throw a hand of sac on them if needed because they will be taking increased ammounts of damage or if they are smart seperate by 10yards to avoid excess ammounts of dammage.
5: human racial if your first bite target has it, it helps alot if you dont have the above abilitys ready or in use for them so he can find his target and quickly get to him or her.

it not a matter of speed so get that out of your raiders mentality, its about exicution and being calm during times where they have a job to do where there is alot of other things going off during the fight. just have your raiders remember they have 15 seconds to transfer the bite, plenty of time to go bite someone after flight and then quickly get back into place.

if all else fails make your raid download AVRE. its an outstanding addon that helps a lot during boss ancounters, i havnt yet tried it on BQ but i assume the addon will mark your bite target with a different color circle under the target for the biter to go and do his bite.

Some people might argue that it's 8 seconds of wasted time, but really, it's worth it to make the bites and air phases not line up at all.

Good idea to have the 2nd round of biters wait for as long as possible, too, that way the rest of the raid doesn't have to worry about the timing.

We use a mod called "Vamp". You make a pre-set bite order and whispers the biter and the bitée and marks the person being bitten.
If someone bites the wrong person, someone dcs or dies the mod adjusts for that! It really is handy.

Especially with the marks, it's easy to find the person and to select them if you have raid frames which shows who has what mark.

Or have Tremors all over the place. Last time in we had 5 shamans, so no one was feared for long.... still f'ed it up the first try though.
