Resto cataclysm master shapeshifter?

looking at the new resto talent tree and realizing that as of now tree of life is a 5 min - 90 second when talented cooldown is 4% more healing worth it or are those 2 points better used somewhere else? still looks good for other specs though...

Would be 5 points, since you don't really need Natural Shape shifter either... but I agree, doesn't seem worth it anymore. It will probably be changed or the tree of life will be removed from it.

This kind of discussion is rather pointless right now... wait for beta, when things aren't so much in flux anymore.

For all it's worth, the talent might not even exist three builds from now.

We don't know. What if all fights are 20 minutes? What if we get a glyph that makes the CD 1 minute? What if ToL ends up healing more then what we do all fight? We have no idea not only until at least beta, but release since Blizz likes to change things as they see fit.

It's pretty obvious that its just a beta... but that doesn't stop people from speculating and planning ahead... If you don't like it, don't read the posts.

As the talent tree is in it's current state though, where would you put those 5 points taken out of Natural Shapeshifter and Master Shapeshifter? You would need atleast 2 points in Furor (pointless for resto) or 2 points in Perseverance, which IMO is more for PvP. Let's hope the Master Shapeshifter talent changes for resto druids, otherwise there's going to be some wasted points.

common sense ppl..the most obvious answer is the trees aren't finished.. in the polish Mastershapeshifter will probably give the bonus to caster form or jack the ToL contribution... no biggy if it doesn't they'll make up the deficit in other areas.

It's pretty obvious that its just a beta...

Its not beta. Its alpha. Alpha means that half the things that are going to be in the beta aren't even implemented yet.
