If it is an old god (which seems very likely) I wish that "defeat" him at least in a raid, because it would trivialize the power and standing in lore if we would just "defeat" him while questing. Maybe a raid in the mind of the god? Imagine something like Yoggy's Brain Room DeLuxe. Fighting against our fears and the corruption of this creature.
