Enhancement: Pre-raiding gear

Hi everyone, just registered here on the forum but I've been reading it for quite some time.

I've been searching on this forum and on Google to find some sort of pre-raiding gear guide for an enhancement shaman, but without any luck.
Do you guys know where I could find that kind of guide?

I've read the PVE Enhancement sticky here and it's great for me who haven't been playing on my shaman for a while. A few weeks ago I started playing on my shaman, haven't touched it since 1-2 months after WOTLK came out. Back then I brought it to level 80, tried some heroics and even managed to join some Naxx raids (thanks to my friends guild). So now when I started to play on it once again my gear is kinda funky, I had like 1-2 greens, mostly blues and a few Naxx epics. Got the same level of gear on both resto and enhancement.

My current game plan is to run heroics every now and then and loot emblems/epics and slowly gear up. But since I love making plans I recently started to look for what to gear I should aim for, in pre-raiding dungeons. Do you guys have any suggestions or links where I can find any good info?

I understand that firstly I need to reach the hit cap and then get expertise rating, then move on to get more AP/crit/armor penetration.

I've been reading the BiS-guides etc on Elitist Jerks but that doesn't really include my kind of gaming profile, a casual gamer that runs heroics. I can't really be that picky, first I just need to replace my blue items with epics

That's pretty much all there is to it.. farm Triumph emblems, get your Frost emblems every day, etc. Get the tier 9 4-set bonus, as many welfare ilevel 245s as you can, the 232's out of 5-man ICC instances for everything else. If what you're looking for is some kind of "pre-raid BiS list," you really don't have enough options per piece of gear pre-raid for it to actually mean anything.

I recommend getting the addon AtlasLoot so you can look up what drops where so you can more clearly see what your options are.

Yeah I've been looking around the loot lists of the different dungeons and noticed that I dont really have that much to choose from, right now.
One example is that there aren't that many main/offhand weapons from heroics to use for me as a shaman:

4 epics in all the heroics plus the epic axe from normal HoR, not that many options

Well well, I'm gonna try to get a hold of as many triumph and frost emblems I can and go on a shopping spree. Maybe I'll join in on some PUG 10-man raids later on, when I reach the proper gear score (which everyone keep yelling about )

Just thought that since there was a nice pre-raiding gear for resto there would be another one for enhancement. I can see this as my task now when I'm gearing up in heroic dungeons, to make a proper pre-raiding gear enhancement guide!

I'll probably play most of my time as resto and then switch to enhancement when my buddy wants to heal instead of tanking with his druid

Something I threw together awhile ago, sort of a rough list of gear. Im sure it could be tweaked better.

Only reason the polearm is in the other column is to see the total stats/gains at the bottem to gauge how many hit/exp gems I'd need.

http://db.mmo-champion.com/i/37693/greed/ is an awesome weapon that drops in H CoS, if your gear doesn't let you into the new heroics yet. The offhand http://db.mmo-champion.com/i/40704/pride/ used to be a really nice enhance weapon, still is I suppose, but doubt it's now worth the 50 emblems that it costs to buy.

Check AH for http://www.wowhead.com/item=48663 too. They're out of season and prolly pretty rare, but it's worth a shot if you're having trouble finding nice weps.

It is expertise and hit capped and all the items is either emblem gear or ICC dungeon drops

Swamy, that setup provides you with too much hit, missing out on other more useful stats.
