    C'thun returns in Cataclysm!

I am pretty sure about it.

    http://static.mmo-champion.com/mmoc/...c/big/ogre.jpg

Am i the only one that remember him from the comic? He's in AQ.. And with him is C'thun ressurected, and he is doing something to Med'an (can't remember , brainwashing or something) and basically, that is a huge clue to C'thun returning, right?

And here is another intresting thing.

    http://static.mmo-champion.com/mmoc/...g/eyething.jpg

That looks like a AQ-like construction, and it's named "Eye thingy" at the front page.

Also, there's 2 faceless ones models, which was introduces in the last god battle, Yogg Saron.

I'm sorry if there's a topic from before, or if it's like obvious and has been confirmed, i haven't heard it atleast
if not, discuss Sorry about the pics if they get huge

Pretty sure we'll get another old god somewhere along the line of this expansion, but not off the bat.

And Twlight Hammer are a bit of a fanclub of everyone concerned with bringing about the end of the world if im not mistaken? And as they seem like the 'scourge' of this expansion, seems likely that something old and doomsday-like is coming our way (Deathwing aside obviously)

The eye thingy is actually named "MercilessOne" in the modelviewer.

speaking of Old Gods, you guys remember the talk of "OMG YOU SEE THAT SPACE IN TIRISFAL? AN OLD GOD TOTALLY LIVES THERE!"

and the new cata map of TF shows that the space has been filled in, with mountains (not old gods)...

That's not a clue to anything.

    1. That may not be Cho'gall, as that model is very old.
    2. The Twilight Hammer in general is related to the Old Gods, not just C'Thun, so it can be a case for ANY Old God, not just C'Thun.
    3. In the spell files, there is a number of abilities to "L'Ghorek, The Merciless One" including you being under his control.

In the Vashjir pics, what do I find... http://static.mmo-champion.com/mmoc/...vashjir_50.jpg

Combined with the fact that the model is called "MercilessOne," I'd say it's not C'Thun and a completely new Old God altogether.

Combined with that, there's also the matter of the Old God at the Master's Glaive in both Darkshore and Twilight Highlands...so there's another potential Old God.

I don't think C'Thun's coming back with that much already on the table.

    Pity Heal
    Unlimited range
    Channeled
Baron Ashbury has pity on you, but only so he can continue inflicting pain! Heals all nearby enemies and allies for 5% health every 1 sec.

Isn't that Ogre the dude who stands at the Pit of Blood in Nagrand?

It looks exactly the same as the ogre at the ring of blood in Nagrand. That pic from OP doesn't even have a new skin let alone a new model.

    Re: C'thun returns in Cataclysm!

Actually as seen from the comics, CHO'GALL had that ogre model, and was one of the leaders of the TWILIGHT'S HAMMER clan.
He was only under the command of the old god C'thun himself. So we might as well, see Cho'gall as a boss in Cataclysm!

(basically, if they are going to implement and use that model i am almost 100% sure it will be cho'gall in combination with an old god, making a raid instance together...)

    Re: C'thun returns in Cataclysm!

My theory is that Uldum is the prison of Cthun, and AQ is where it had managed to break free and 'tunnel out' on it's own. Upon exploring Uldum further, we're either going to find the years dead remains of C'thun, or a very pissed off C'thun with one eye poked out.

C'thun is merged within Cho'gall but here is the tricky question ... why the heck did Twilight hammer clan start working for deathwing? Doesn't deathwing know of the awfull movie twilight?

Deathwing was turned mad by the Old Gods.

I think there is the reference you were looking for.

If Cho'gall returned in Cata (and honestly I hope he does) he'd have a very unique model and he would retain the mutation C'Thun gave him. Which means tentacles for arms and crap.

    Re: C'thun returns in Cataclysm!

Cho'Gall's final form in the comics resembled a two-headed gronn. Check it:

I'm guessing that if he's back, he'll have something to do with the Twilight Cult's presence in Uldum. It's right next to Silithus, and the Twilight Hammer is after the Titan artifacts there, so he's a logical choice as the ultimate villain of that region.

So, in this expansion we have not only Deathwing to whoop, but an in-fused Old God, and the Elemental Lords at the height of their power?

    Nice.
