The fate of old raids?

What is it? Is MC and BWL still around, or do we lose them? AQ 40 sink in to the sand? What is happening?

I know BWL is gonna be re-made.

I've actually been having an argument with a guildy about this subject. He says that AQ40 is going away and that he is trying to farm the red bug mount "before it goes away".

blue posts stated that at least MC and BWL will be staying around but the quest giver for thunderfury may be removed. Nothing was stated about ZG, AQ 20/40 and so on.

The other raids are in random middle of nowhere places though so i doubt they would be taken out.

Blackwing DECENT is an entirely different raid from Blackwing LAIR.

Decent starts where Lair ended. BWL isn't going anywhere.

the raids are still going to stay there, blizzard isn't removing content, they already said that
there will still be molten core with ragnaros and bwl with nefarian, even with them on other raids at level 85

They said MC and BWL wouldn't be changed, as they didn't want to get rid of perfectly fine raids...same with AQ
