Leveling 80-85 in Old world zones?

Was it stated or implied that we could level 80 to 85 in places who were once for lower levels?
Like, The Barrens splitting into two, and the northren part being the low level, while the southren part being more high level, or did I just misunderstood it for being like northren barrens is 10-20 and southren barrens being 40-45 (pure speculation) ?

No, to level you have to do:

    1-58 - "Old" World
    58-68 - Outland
    68- 78/80 - Northrend
    78/80 - 85 - new zones in "Old" World

As far as level changes for old zones it will roughly look like that -> http://www.dslreports.com/forum/r230...-Level-Changes
