If I'd know how to create WoW AddOns I'd give it a shot. I know C++, Java, HTML, CSS. Can anyone tell me how different/alike WoW's AddOn language is, and which it is exactly? I could probably go figure it out myself but im on this forum now anyway

Hmm, that is a nice idea indeed. But how would you get working on your WoW, since it has been made for an entirely different platform. Other problem is that you need to buy it from AppStore but you don't need to pay for addons, so how would you block the addon from those who has not paid for the app? ??? Also Apple is strict with the AppStore and the apps they sell there, so there would be some kind of copyright issues. :-\

Although I like the idea a lot I think that it ain't happening any time soon.

You can most certainly look at the concept and maybe develop a similar, but not exact copy.
If you really felt the need to produce something very close to it, you could contact the original author and ask for permission.

Having just looked at a video, being not familliar with the game before then I feel that while that could potentially be produced to an extent, with the likes of peggle already having been done, it would likely be unrealistic.

If you can code in C++ and know the basics about coding in any form, LUA editing is fairly easy. Just open up any addons and check it out with notepad you'll find it very easy to familiar yourself with.

1) WoW addons are written in the Lua language.

2) WoWWiki has a lot of info on resources for Lua.

Oh Im glad im not the only one whose obsessed with this game haha. What made me come up with idea is because i thought of the Peggle addon. Unfortunetly i have no experince with java C++ ect... so im basicly just throwing the idea out there.
