How much ArP should I gem now?

Hey Guys,

I've got 27 ArP left to the cap, so I have to decide whether using a +34 Dragon's Eye oder an ordinary +20 gem.
The Dragon's Eye would be 7 points too much and the ordinary one would be 7 points under the cap..

So, well. I don't know what I should do. Could you tell me what would be better? Wasting 7 points or being under the cap?

Use the dragon`s eye gem, its better to be a bit over the cap than under it

1 Fractured Cardinal Ruby and 1 Puissant Dreadstone.

Only 3 ArP over cap, and gives you an excuse to activate a new set bonus.

Don't use the puissant dreadstone. The stamina stat is completely wasted. Plus all kitties should have a nightmare tear somewhere to get the meta-gem requirement. Slot bonusses on gear are mostly dire.

or change a 20 ArP to either 20 agi or 20
hit (if under cap) and then eat some hearty rhino (40 sta 40 ArP)

I honestly believe you'll see absolutely NO difference. Something like +/- 3 dps. Max.

EDIT : In the process of Rawring it, I admit I never asked myself the question... So trying it to get an answer out of curiosity, brb.

OK after Rawring it on BiS setup, all talents and buffs, 6min encounter bla bla :
- 1407 armpen (+34 gem) = 13436,6 dps
- 1393 armpen (+20 gem) = 13415,2 dps

So in this case of BiS setup, 1407arp > 1393 arp, BUT two things :
- difference is more than minor
- to have an accurate answer, rawr your gear (couldn't you're logged off in tanking gear)

Yes. It was about damage-loss with the ArP cap. :3

Better still to drop another 34arpen gem for a 20arpen one, so you go down to 79, and then add a 20arpen one to go to 99.
