DK dps help in ICC

My guild's currently progressing through the Blood Princes in ICC, and one of the things I'm having trouble with is every time I can get a decent rotation going, I'm either moving out of the way, or chasing after fire balls, or moving out of the way of shock vortexes and my DPS is seeming to suck from it. Any suggestions on how to help boost my dps during this encounter would be appreciated. Thanks.

Rocket boots, or befriend a holy priest with body & soul. Frequent target switching WILL destroy your DPS, no matter what.

blood princes isnt the best encounter to test dps on. highest i got was 7.5 whereas i usually get 10k on saurfang.

Blood Princes isn't a DPS encounter. It's a Move out of Damage encounter. If you are towards the bottom of the "damage taken" list, you are doing the fight right. Ignore the DPS meter.

PS- Also make sure you aren't doing ANY AoE near Dark Nuclei.
