Hello,
I recently rerolled boomkin, and I wanted to know if it's possible to interrupt the channeling spell which is being cast on Menethil by Typhoon?

This. Bear > Bash > Kill Spirit. Don't forget that just because you are a caster druid doesn't mean you can't use any abilities of the other 3 or 4 forms that druids can take. You can also interrupt casting in cat form, but it takes longer since you actually have to build up a couple combo points.

or you can just use typhoon, and save your self a heap of hassle

Why switch to bear when typhoon is ready and handy? Typhoon is absolutely awesome for the Lich King fight, for the vile spirits in phase 3 anyways, so you will have it sitting on the bars anyways
