yea, 793 sp per 15 sec(i think). unless the icd is lower than normal this is looking like a very underbudget 271 trinket when you compare it to the 1k + procs on the icc trinkets.

Even speccing into DP the crit from the choker and ring of rapid ascent > both memory of malygos and bone sentinal's. Though since 1210 haste can be reached unbuffed now this might SLIGHTLY change, possibly grabbing another crit/spir instead of haste, i.e ring of maddening whispers.

edit:1210 haste as aff cap with eradication, not talking about demo/dest

The BiS list you posted for demo is for pDPS demo and not rDPS, there is actually a quite huge difference in how you gem and gear, as for BiS for a rDPS demo, you would go for spirit over crit, which you haven't done.

also all gems for a rDPS demo lock should be 23 spellpower unless the socket bonus is really good, except for the 2 sp/spi ones.

Also for BiS rDPS you'd go for the chest of Blood Princes and not t10 chest.

It's not that huge, but your other points (gem, chest) are correct. I've compiled a max spell power set before in wowhead and you lose a substantial amount of personal dps for a marginal amount of gain. I'll be fixing the posted list shortly (tonight/tomorrow)

You are an idiot. A 12sp 10 spirit gem gives a demo lock 12+6.49 spellpower = 18.49 spellpower. That is 4.51 spellpower spellpower less than 23, meaning that even just a single blue socket with 5sp socket bonus is worth it. You really don't need a "really good" socket bonus.

Also, anyone who gears for pDPS over rDPS is an idiot. The pDPS scale factor difference between spirit and crit is roughly 0.1-0.2 dps, the rDPS scale factor difference between the 2 is roughly 0.9-1.0 in favor of spirit. The pDPS difference is small, the rDPS difference is big.
