Holy Paladins need Hit.
They use Judgement because in their Talent Tree, there is a talent that increases their haste by 15% after using a Judgement.

Thus, Paladins need Hit.

Even if one stat is wasted, why use an inferior weapon? Let's say you have two options. You can either get 100 points where every point is usefull, or you can get 150 points, where 30 points are useless, but the other 120 are good. What yould you pick? 100 points or 120?

No, you don't need hit for that. Try judging way before the buff runs out so you can safely re-judge if it misses.

Exactly. We don't use daggers like the other three healer classes, so that niffty dagger off of the first boss in PoS isn't something for us to look at.

There is only one spell weapon that drops from the icc H5 mans that Holy pallys can use. Yes it has hit but thats the only choice. Don't blame us, blame blizzard who has a thing with daggers.
