<Ring of Valor> is a day-1 raiding guild on Uther, focusing on endgame PvE content! We are a group made up of mostly adults, mostly professionals, and we enjoy retaining a low profile on our server. We are looking for passionate players (18+) who are looking for a fun and challenging experience in taking down the Lich King!
Our current progression is 12/12 ICC-10 (5/12 Heroic), and 10/12 ICC-25! Our main focus is always on 25-man progression, so we ask that applicants have the appropriate level gear for our current content.
Raid Times:
Monday - Friday : 7:00-11:00 PM, PST
Saturday & Sunday: Off Day
*please note that you are expected to be on and ready to go no later than 7pm. Raids are scheduled to end at 11, but we may hold raids later on some nights should we be appropriately close to a progression kill.

Like other "mature" raiding guilds, our vent and guild chat can often be filled with harsh language, crude jokes and sexual content. Please consider this when applying. You need to be receptive to constructive criticism, as well as open to new strategies our ongoing sarcasm. If you are highly sensitive, or overly emotional, you may not be a fit with Ring of Valor.
It is extremely important that you know your class and play it well. The internet offers you a multitude of resources to help you improve your play style, gear choice, etc... use the tools you have been given to your advantage!
When we learn encounters, we wipe. A lot. It's how we gather information. It's how we refine strategies and tactics so we can progress. We look for players who won't be overly discouraged by repair bills, who are willing to help farm materials for encounters, who are hungry to kill bosses and willing to do what it takes to get there.
How we deal with loot:
We distribute loot through a loot-council. Our decisions are based on not only who it would benefit, but how it would benefit the guild as a whole. We look at the bigger picture. Typically, Healers and Tanks usually have top priority, with DPS to follow; main toons > alts, main spec > off spec. We consider loot as a reward for a job well done! Don't be upset if you dont receive a highly sought after item, when you've being in the guild for only a week. If raid progression excites you more than a piece of loot, you'll be a perfect fit!
