i would say orc->turk

you know, we had shamans before islam and we kinda destroyed and conqured half of the world. then we got corrupted and led to our destruction in ww1(burning legion) but we managed to recover and found a new republic thanks to our leader Atatürk (thrall) but now our prime minister is ruining us and what we have worked for in 100 years (like garrosh is ruining the horde)

i really find the history of orcs and turks similar.

What are we basing these suppositions on? Accents portrayed by voice actors? The style of the racial cities and structures? Culture? Social structure? the /dance emote? Personally I find a lot of the WoW races draw from several divergent sources in each of these areas, which makes it extremely difficult to label them as a reflection of a single culture. You could give half a dozen completely different answers for some races and you'd be right on all counts.

Have to agree there, though I'm not sure I'd even say Americanized aside from the fact voice emotes are usually in an american accent. That's pretty much where any similarity ends culturally, structurally, stylishly and 'historically'.

It just occured to me ^^ If you were going to somehow ascribe any reflection of America to the human nations such as Stormwind etc, then this might be true in so far as the entire world of warcraft setting shows an almost polar opposite to the reality of our own world.... ^^ Wherein an indigenous and established feudal society is invaded by a shamanic culture fleeing its own lands, has its lands taken and ultimately ends up losing much of them to the new arrivals.

Err, warhammer was released like 10 years before the warcraft RTS was released.
