Arcane mage vs. resto druid?

Conditions are:

Mage, 3 mana gems, evo+all other cds

Resto druid all cds, equall gear/skill

I managed to get a full relen druid 1200resil to 0 hp in few sec. He did LoS and run away alot to heal etc...but my burst was enough to bring him down.

Is this normal or?

Yes it's normal.

No you are not special for killing a resto druid.


Nuke druid, Spam spellsteal. Nuke again. Spam spellsteal. Nuke again, dead.

YESYES I THINK.

The only time an arcane mage f&&ked me was when I was playing double healer warrior and I was zerging stuff while listening to rock music(who needs Vent for Dhealer-warrior HAH) , I had 750 resi and we thought that mage was a frostmage. 12k Arcane blast followed by 8k barrage was not fun(tho totally justified)

Nope you're right, even considering the possibility that a resto druid could die isn't normal. Blizzard should buff them some more.

I can't agree more since my last game in circle of blood...frost mage vs resto druid 40 minutes of innermost despair. >
