Toonami, Home of the best action cartoons on the planet.

Cartoon Network used to be cool at one time. The coolest thing about it was Toonami. At first it was a couple hours of Anime.. Not the kind that we see today.. but REAL action cartoons that told real stories and pulled no punches when it came to facing the fact that even kids no people can die. Shows like DBZ, Gundam, Yu Yu Hakisho etc, were part of this line up where I would sit in my room and be captivated by a whole new kind of cartoon.

Eventually it was cut down to weekends and then shut down completely. To make room for shows which I would describe as intellectually challenged.. by shows in which the characters have ..pet farts.

So being nostalgic and very tired I figured maybe I'm not the only one who wishes Cartoon Network would get it's ass in gear and remember that reality sucks :P Bring back Tom and Toonami instead of following this trend of destroying original TV and caving in to the reality TV fad.

    Bang.

ah the good old days watching Toonami when I got out of school was great and was what got me into Anime.

As much was I wish they would bring it back I would not think that they would, they cut down the anime on Adult Swim to only one night because of low viewership. Since people that like anime have just started watching it online.

    NOSTALGIA HIT TO THE FACE!!!

Man...it's been so long since it was on weekdays it feels like.

Every day after school I would watch it. Ever single day. It's what got me to love DBZ, and anime in general.

God, I miss the old toonami.
