I don't know if its an old idea, but i think it would be a good idea to implement this in game. It would serve as a good practice for arenas and it would give a new dimension to duels at city gates.
What do you guys think about it?

The problem with this is the reliance on Gladius or similar, which do not work in open Arena's. Or at least, I am not aware of being able to manually add enemies to it, outside of the Arena's.Originally Posted by Snide

so essentially it's queuing for skirmishes but you're in front of org?
yeah that'll ever, ever happenOriginally Posted by Dreld

yeah
Practice for arenas? That's what skirmishes are for, to practice before trying ranked arenas. Why not just suggest 1v1 arenas while you're at it? :
remember srrtanglerthornvale arena gurupashi=my nightelf balanced druid killerable alliance=gnome dead 8)
Yea, but this would give you opportunity to face specific team combos you want, and not just some randoms.Originally Posted by Jorick
And stop with those 1v1 arena suggestions. We all know it will never happen and it shouldn't.
Team duels would be cool. I'm sure a lot of people would do them. The main advantage of team duels rather than skirmishes is that you're probably dueling your friends, and you could talk about the duel, who did what well, who did what wrong, etc...and see what your opponents thought of how you fought. Would be pretty helpful to new PVPers imo.
Plus, some people want to fight people instead of pillars.
They have those. They're called arena skirmishes.
They have those. They're called Gurubashi Arena.
They have those. They're called blizzard implement those now.
This post nailed it, it was such a good post. Until the last bit there.Originally Posted by Elektrik
