Red Star, formerly known as NKVD, was formed in December 2009 by a couple of people who previously played together on other realms and also knew each other irl in an attempt of having an environment suitable for most of us when it comes to raiding 25man and with the aim of having a guild that will satisfy the desire of exploring the end game content of World of Warcraft as much as we possibly can.

Most of the people that are now in the guild are playing the game for several years and took part in pursuits of goals great guilds used to have when they were tagging along with them and now we're here all together hoping that we'll give our best in order to be in the top of this server.

Recruitment info and our expectations:

We raid 5 nights per week: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday from 19:00 - 23:30 server time.
The trial period usually lasts 3 weeks.
You must be able to attend at least 70% of our raids.
You are an adult and mature person with control over your lifestyle.
You own a computer with good hardware able to perform well in raid situations.
You have a good understanding of classes and game mechanics.
You have good raiding experience and a PvE-focused dualspec.
You are expected to be able to pay your own repairs when needed and always use consumables in raids: both flasks and potions.

The Ideal Candidate:

If you are interested in learning new encounters and constantly improving then you will fit right in! Our ideal candidate is someone who generally spends a lot of time playing this game: a person who loves playing their class, has ways of working around its weaknesses; a player who appreciates what responsibilities they have, and can understand and meet the expectations others will have of them. You need to enjoy progress raiding and be able to stay focused even after hours of wiping and remain positive in the face of adversity.

In addition to playing skills, social skills are also important to fit into the guild. We want you to be a positive, mature, tolerant and patient person - plus a good sense of humour and being able to take a few jokes is recommended since we're gonna give you some hard times occasionally.
