Who will win,horde or ally?

95% of the ones who are voting are just fanboys, knowing nothing about what is important in a war. Tho its hard to guess what faction will win due to magic and heroes. Horde Fanboys: - We have X hero and he will pwn X amout of allys.
Alliance fanboys: - but we have X hero and who will pwn X amout of horde soliders.

If we look on facts we can see that the horde is almost 300 000 (including childs and old) the alliance is about 800 000. if we make our calculation easy we guess that the horde can muster 200 000 troops (as in warcraft wommen also fights) the alliance can muster maybe 550 000 troops. this means that each horde soldier have to take care about 2,5 alliance each to win (deathmatch <.<) The horde would win a hand to hand warlike that. The problem is there wont be a hand to hand naked fighting. We have guns, cannons and tanks and magic. (remeber we have removed the heroes super powers and they are now leaders only with normal magic power)

The alliance is fighting with more of a sneaky non brave tactics, letting projectiles kill as many of the horde as they could on range. this is were the battle will be won for the alliance as they would have made so great casulties on the horde troops there supream overpowerness in melee combat would not count as they will be stuck in the back by the the extra numbers and due to horde soldiers starting suffering from battle exhaustion. Now if we are going to count in magic this will be a littlemore intreasting.

Raw numbers allways win war. Why did nazi germany loose ww2, even while the german army was far more advanced than the allied army was. It allways come down to raw numbers and industriell capacity in a war. And the alliance have both of this against the horde.


Now we can start talk about what makes this war diffrent from a modern war like ww2. We know now that raw numbers will win a war 9/10 times (everyone who knows history knows this)
What we in the real world lack is difrent races.

Orcs: Strong and cunning. Ultimate warriors as dying in battle is a honor makes them hard to stop.
Lacks: Raw number and can muster around 60 000 warriors (guessing based on the orc population)
Trolls: Quick and cunning warriors
Lacks: The trolls is only 1 tribe that have joined the horde. Most trolls serves no one exept their tribe. Therefore lacks raw number.
Tauren: Big, and can take many hits before going down.
Lacks: Slow and as the other horde factions they lack the raw number.
Forsaken: Cunning warriors and cant be exhausted and dose not have to eat (lore)*
Lacks: Raw number and they are weaker then the living humans and elfs they once was.
* Cant find anything about if they can riase fallen troops to serv them or if its only the scourge necromacers that can do that. Also hard to know if they will use somekind of pluage in a war resluting in a much more even fight or maybe a win for the horde)
Bloodelfs: Cunning magical race.
Lacks: As the rest of the horde they lack the raw numbers, and they are also very week when it comes down to hand to hand combat.

Humans: Have the raw number and therefore a big advatage in war also comanders who is trained in tactics.
Lacks: Bruteforce and seem to be run away from combat more offten then other races.
Dwarfs: Have bruteforce like orcs and very good equipment. ALso the use of gunpowder and tanks make a big diffrece in war.
Lacks: The dwarfs dont really lack anything. only thing i can see is there hight. They are smaller and therefore have a shorter range in melee combat.
Nelfs: Cunning and skilled archers.
Lacks: As the belfs they lack bruteforce.
Gnomes: Smart. They have things in theire arsenal that we dont have even in our world
Lacks: Raw numbers and bruteforce. There invations also maybe a little unreliable.
Dranei: Strong and proud warriors. Also have good technic.
Lacks: the dranei is the smallest faction in azeroth. They have veryfew warriors.

I have not counted in the Goblins and worgens becous we dont know enuf of them. The goblins are just one clan and the worgens are still fighting like humans but lacks rawnumber.
Now when we look on this list of the races we see that the horde lacks rawnumber. As i said they are the better warriors, but the germans were also the better during ww2, still they lost becous of raw number.

I wont talk about the heroes skills and magics as it will be a short novell contaning maybe 10 000 words and that wall of text would have crited u for maybe 10 000 DMG!

exactly and also if we take the goblin and worgen in the horde and alliance become even more equal since worgen are strong(claws and shit) while the goblin are like the gnomes

Horde if you're Horde, Alliance if you're Alliance, just like in gunship.

It all depends of who starts the war. If Alliance starts Horde will win, if Horde starts Alliance will win. OR both will lose because of exaustion and 3rd party incoming (Bourning Legion).

Right, but who knows maybe over time the darkspear tribe will work it out with the ice, forest, I know its improbable, but can you imagine the numbers that would add to the Horde army?
