LK 10 heroic setup.

What were your's?
I'm basically just getting back into the game after a 2 month break playing modern warfare to death.
So yeah, I stopped 2 months ago, 3 month's ago we got 11/12 down and were 1 off the super hard 10 man drake(lol).


But yeah.
We are supposedly going to use this setup

Tanks:
Protection Paladin.
Protection Warrior.

DPS:
Retribution Paladin(me hard I know right.)
Rogue.
Death Knight.
Hunter.
Arcane mage.
Boomkin.

Healers:
Holy paladin
Disc priest.


So yeah, no shaman obviously.
What were your setups?
Tell me if you did it without heroism/lust and how you coped with it.

Our setup when we got our kill was:

MT: Blood DK
OT (on horrors, soaking): Prot paladin

Healers:
Disc priest
Holy paladin

DPS:
Retri paladin
Shadow priest
Elemental shaman
Marks hunter
Combat (I think) rogue
Frost DK

From what I hear it was a messy kill, it was done with the 15% buff. 2 died a bit before the end due to messy soaking, and another 2 died towards an enraged LK at the end. It was just about a kill but if the two hadn't died from spirits it would've been a lot cleaner of course. Imo it could easily be done without a shaman, the runs we did without a sham in the raid we were doing well on enrage, and as long as no one dies to vile spirits or anything silly, it should be ok, especially with the 20% buff.

your going to have huge difficulty beating the enrage with that setup, you really need a shaman because you can use bloodlust twice, once during the pull and once after the second frostmourne room in P3.

A warlock would also be good cause it means you can get lucky and sometimes skip having to dps the valkryr's in P2.

I know right, but we are all friend's really and have been playing together for a year or two.

Yeah I know and he know's he will go fire for it obviously.
Thank's for the replies though, shame the best group will be a full caster set up as most group's that kill this have been or close to been.

We were somewhat behind pure caster setups but that was with the 5 / 10% buff. And this setup is getting pretty close to optimal either way.

Going with a phys setup this week which should include:

-some random dps who will show up :P

But generally for 10 man - good luck doing this without a hunter or a disc priest.

As it seemed a lot easier for a resto druid (me) to heal tanks than infest which is pure aids.

Next week we did moonkin, fire mage, enhance, elemental, fury, shadow priest

So just get what you have, try to get someone who can tranq, replenishment etc.

It's doable, I mean with my setup we had no magic debuff with 2 casters in the raid, so thats a 13% dps loss from each of them. Also on the kill there were a couple of deaths a minute or so before enrage, and this was with the 15% buff. So imo it's easily manageable to 3 heal and keep up with enrage, but it will be very setup dependant.
