Fusion is a collection of raiders from all over Europe, and a few even from the Middle East. We are a semi-hardcore guild, and do not compete for Realm Firsts, yet we take raiding seriously when we do it. Everyone is mature and there is a variety of ages in the guild, ranging from teenagers to old men. We raid 3 nights a week, and tackle new content head on, without fear of ridiculously large repair bills. We have experienced raid leaders and class leaders, who have all fulfilled this role/class for at least 3 years. We are not looking for players who have done the normal pugging of 4/12 in ICC. We are not looking for people who need detailed class instructions, or people who almost need to be boosted or taught. We seek good players and then throw them in at the deep end. We seek players who are ready to battle on and together, defeat the Lich King on 25player difficulty, and to continue the speedy progress we have already made in ICC10heroic.

We are looking for skilled players with ample experience throughtout WOTLK. We are not looking for players who raided nothing pre ICC and look good with their welfare triumph badge gear. We seek players who have already ventured deep into ICC, and preferably with raid experience pre TOC.

Raiding Schedule
We raid 3 times a week - Wednesday, Thursday, Sunday. We raid between 19:30-23:00 server time (6:30-10 GMT)
We expect people to make all 3 days most weeks. 2 days a week is not enough, but 5 raids every 6 may just about cut it. Preferably we are looking for people with 100% raid attendance, as we do not raid a large amount, we make the most of it when we do. Many of our raiders have 100% raid attendance.


Requirements
-You must be 18 or older. We will look at applications if you are 17, but if you are 16 - we are not the guild for you.
-Ventrilo is a requirement. You do not have to be able to talk, only to listen and follow orders. Tanks and healers must have a mic, to call out important information.
-Be able to read and write English well, and to understand various accents and dialects (e.g my essex accent ;D)
-People who will sign up to raids with very high frequency, and then show up without fail.
-People who will not cry about loot.
-People who can take a joke, and can then dish it out as good as they get it. If you are easily offended by being told to F off, then we arent for you. It's one of our most used words.
-Good gear for the content we are at. If you apply to us in mostly Emblem of Triumph gear, we will decline your app. We aren't interested. You must also wear gear appropriate to your spec. If you use the useless "gearscore" excuse then dont bother applying. We have had an Elemental Shaman using an Armor Pen trinket for this reason before. His app was declined in 4minutes 13 seconds.

Remember, when writing an application to use, write as much as you can think of. This gives us more to work with and we are not in the dark about what kind of person you are, and your attitude to raiding. The more you put on there - if it is generally a good app - the more likely you are to get in.

If you write walls of coherent text showing us what a great person you are, but your attendance is not 100%, you are more likely to get in than a bare app with perfect gear and outgearing the content we are on. We are looking for PEOPLE, not completely centered wow players who cannot converse with other people. A few of our members know each other IRL and are in relationships. If you don't like a social life as well as a raiding life - again - we are not for you.

What we expect from you at raid time
Every member of the raid is expected to be online, and waiting outside the instance 15 minutes before raid time, ready for invites. None of this waiting in Dalaran for a summon rubbish. If you cant be bothered to put in the effort to fly for 45 seconds, we cant be bothered to bring you to the raids. All members are expected to bring flasks/elixirs to last for the duration of the raid. Excuses do not come up. If you do honestly forget, then you may be loaned some from the guild bank. If this is the case, you are expected to repay straight after the raid. If this is a common occurence, we are not impressed. Players are also expected to bring their own specific class buff food. Leeching off Fish Feasts is just not good enough, for the content we are at.

We expect your internet connection to be stable most of the time. We are not as draconian to say that if it is not 100% or you disconnect once in a blue moon, you cannot come. Shit happens in life, and disconnecting is full of shit. Remember how we are recruting PEOPLE and not just "hardcore raiders". If you cannot understand or sympathise for the odd bit of crap happening, then you may have crossed the line into taking it too seriously.

We also expect you to do your own class research, and bring suggestions to our forums. We have had members in the past who have leeched off the class advisors. This is why they are ex members, and are no longer with us.

What you will get from us
3 raids a week at the absolute minimum. These will be used for proression runs. Normally 25man runs, but everynow and then we do a 10man heroic, and then with those left over we form a 10man group to go and get Kingslayer title and to do some of the easier heroic modes.

On friday nights and Saturday afternoons, despite being an unofficial raid night, there are invites in the ingame calender for an Uduar drake run. The purpose of these are to get the Rusted Proto Drake for all members who do not have one and would like one. A nice vanity item has never hurt confidence before. We also farm people the Starcaller title, and Alts can be taken to these runs occasionally.

On monday nights, or sometimes on the weekend evenings, occasionally fridays, we will organise an alt run for ICC. These runs will normally make it to 11/12. Because these are on unofficial raid nights, they sometimes start a little bit later than normal raid time and then end later too.

These runs are simply to avoid burnout amongst our raiders. Just enough to keep you entertained, but equally not too much that you wear out The only ones that it are compulsory, are our Wed/Thurs/Sunday runs. If you never show up to a single one of these off night raids, there is no problem.

As you can probably tell, we are not solely focused on raiding - we are semi-hardcore for this reason - we like to have lives outside of raiding too.
