Getting my Corrupted Ashbringer the last raid before the launch of BC was probably the best experience in my life. We had cleared Naxx 40 for a few months before the expac was set to launch and that raid was going to be the last one for our guild. After a few wipes on The Four Horsemen, I was finally rewarded with my very own (and guild first) Corrupted Ashbringer. Such an amazing win.

Next time I saw it was when we came back to ZA for fun in Wrath. I rolled need on it out of spite and lost it to a warlock yet again.

I see norm version every week, just the person that wins it normally fails at simple mechanics in later fights, and that makes me want to punch a wall.

Raided Kara for 15 months with a few breaks and the T4 glove token dropped twice early. Lost both rolls. After that, never saw them again. Ever. Maiden gloves? Same, dropped twice early. Lost both rolls. After that? Never saw them again.

Had to retire my toon because he just wasn't geared enough for SSC and TK. He was barely geared for Prince.

I had such notoriously bad luck on Mack that the first piece of tier gear he ever got was T7. Wish that was a joke...

It's why I'm so vocal about supporting badge gear...

I still think Abyssal Rune is a myth...

at 75 10 icc boss kills i had 1 piece of tank gear from boss drops, and only a total of 5 tank drops showed for my entire 10 man group.

Yes, RNG is a bitch. Took over 30 twin valk kills for DV to finally drop, which was loot council'd to none other than myself

so ive seen it 1 time out of 11 LDW kills... kinda pathetic really considering how often you see people with this bow

In about 7 months of farming both ToC and TOGC 25, my guild has gotten 1 DV heroic and 2 DV normal only. We were luckier with DBW however, we've gotten 4 so far.
