Bear pet in heroic groups

So i was wondering.. will a pet Bear with Swipe and Thunderstomp do more dmg then a normal Cat due to aoe?

You can get Thunderstomp through pet talent tree with a bear.

In my opinion using a tank pet as a DPS pet just wont work, I am assuming you are BM spec if you are considering any pet other than wolf, and if you are BM then I suggest you get a t-rex pet, you have that exotic pet talent for a reason, use it.

Actualy im not BM. thats why i was asking, wasnt sure about some things

I don't know what you guys are talking about this man is correct, however they do have an ability trainable through a pet talent called Thunderstomp.

Aye you are pretty much limited to wolf for MM and Surv specs, the +AP bonus it gives is just too good to miss

I use a wasp, i also Stack Agi instead of ArP as a MM hunter. Why? 'cause I can. I pull, at most times, 10kish dps, and haven't been beaten by a cookie cutter hunter since i broke a 5k GS

Well, I use a bear for random dungeons. Although I am BM. And level 73.

It's all worth it though, since it's named after my guilds feral tank.

Last I heard it actually was a dps boost for trash to use a bear.

its just a heroic.
ive started leveling pets..and/or in general using whatever pet i fancy in heroics
i find bears nice pets.and they are very able to tank a elite
should it somehow be needed to save the healer or sumthing
sporebats are also interesting and alot less boring@wolf

Same but cat. I try to get arpen on every piece of gear, but i use Delicate/Deadly gems. Got about 40%arpen plus the FoS trinket. Other hunters can't touch me unless they grossly out GS me.

As much as i'd love to say its an awesome idea it probably isn't. Alas, once again we are reduced to the single pet choice due to numbers which kinda defeats the concept of choosing and taming pet.
