Someone else noticed this? (smaller weapons)

Hi, everyone!
Im new here and wanted to ask if someone else noticed that the undead weapons will become smaller when sheathed.

I know that they were bigger in classic and TBC and that they are smaller since some patches. So I contacted a GM ingame today and all he said to me was that they couldnt find a problem and that it would be as intended.

Due to the fact that almost all 2H weapons in WOTLK are smaller than the Weapons in Classic WoW it seems that the most male undead didnt notice the change of the weapon scale or they just dont care about it.

But when you have Ashkandi, Thunderfury or another big weapon you´ll notice that they get downsized by approximately 30% percent when sheathed on your back. Furthermore some weapons as Shadowsedge looks crooked on the back.

I tried to post this "Bug" in the US Forum but I wasnt allowed since I have a german account. So I made a post in the suggestion forums at the german and english blizzard forum.

I would really appreciate it if you could post in one of my posts if you also want them to change the weapon size back. ;D

Weapon+gear is sized to your character model size.

Blood elves stand higher and with more mass than the Undead, thus bigger weapon.

I think all items that are visible on a character are meant to be like that. Tauren's mounts are much larger than a Forsaken's. The case is no different concerning weapons and armor.

I know that the bigger the char is the bigger the weapons are and i dont want them to make the male undead weapons as big as the bloodelves weapons. All I want is them to change the weapons size back to their original size.
On the other hand the size of the male humans had to be the same size as the male undead weapons.

Plus the weapons of bloodelves or humans are not getting smaller whean sheathed on the back. They stay the same size.

The primordial saronite costs 650 gold on our server so there are many people with shadowsedge on my server...
It wasnt too hard to find some guys with the same weapon.

I think the shoulderpads of male orcs are too big but for all other races the shoulderpads fits perfecty.
Back in vanilla wow the shoulderpads of male undeads were too big for some patches and im glad they reduced the size of them.
Im happy with the size of the shoulderpad from male undeads.

And yes im unhappy with the size of male undeads weapons. They should be the same size as when you hold them in your hands.
As i mentioned earlier i think it is a bug since patch ~3.0.9 like the weapons of Tauren or shouldepads of male orcs were too small for a couple of patches.

I only noticed it on my male undead warrior. On nelf and other races the weapons wont get smaller when you first hold them in your hand and then sheath them on your back. I tested it with "Orb of Deception" as you transform in a nelf when you are an undead.

When i hold the weapons in my hand the weapons are the same size as with Noggenfogger elixier or as the size of human weapons. They are just smaller on the back.


I use the caith UI and added some additional addons.

Well, I'm not sure about weapons, but gnomes do have bigger mounts than other races.

Its the old pvp rang title for Legionnaire in german and fits perfectly while wielding Thunderfury . I really like it too

Bot: I hope that Blizzard will recognize the wrong size of male undead once cataclysm is released. Maybe its not very important to most of you but its really a big thing for me xD . There is almost no other option for me since I dont like Tauren and Orcs and male bl11 are some kind of gay.
The other option would be to make a goblin warrior but then i would have to wait for about 2 month when blizzard allows everyone to reroll a goblin.
Hopefully they will buff WOTF and the weapon size so i can stick with my male undead
