Took our vB4 forum servers from being strained to almost running idle with the same traffic.

Also, in case you have not found out yet... search in vB4 is almost unusable for a large forum (even after you finish the indexing process). We built a Sphinx-based search system that is fast as hell (search for "paypal" in our forum as an example... which exists in well over 1M posts).

I'm holding off on anything vb4. I wasn't very happy how they went about releasing it, and offering a "special" for early adopters before the product had even been previewed :P. I enjoy the 3.8 series though. I've been pondering moving to IP.board but unless something breaks or some really cool features come out, I see no reason to switch. The only annoying thing about the 3.x series is the WYSIWYG editor doesn't work in chrome.
