Soloing

Can someone please post the standard spec for soloing old world content (ZG,MC,Kara) Also please say what things i should get or gem or gear towards, like i thought enchanting two weps with lifeward would be enough to help.

Would prob be subspec for ghostly strike, 2x evasion (preperation)and cheat death? Dunno I can make it quite good with combat spec while doing zul gurub

I never really put much effort into soloing on my rogue but needed I just go into my PvP spec (muti-prep) with 2x evasion and nuke as fast as possible. You would probably want the evasion glyph, because that's pretty much all you have. Rogues are pretty much the worst solo class out of all 10 currently, that may change in Cataclysm though.

Apparently you missed there part where you were on the rogue forums responding to a rogue asking for a rogue spec.

To be honest, double evasion is good, but sub is so weak just going flat out toe to toe with stuff. I've always felt like I do better soloing as combat. With the huge burst it puts out with CDs up, you'll get more damage in under 1 evasion than you will with 2 evasions as sub. If the mob is stunable then you have a decent case for shadowdance, but anything that's stunable is basically easy to begin with, so you may as well assume it isn't.

If you're really willing to devite an entire spec to soloing, I would go with something pretty close to this:

The points in relentless strikes may be better over in assasination, but something very close to that would be what I would consider optimal.

This might be viable if you use tanking weapons with parry on it. You also should try using tanking rings, trinkets, and use pvp gear.
