    Alright I'll quote your numbers.
    For AB values taken : AB0, AB1, AB2 & AB3
    For MBarr values taken: AM1, AM2, AM3 & AM4 (AB0 procs AM1 not AM0)

    1 AB + MBarr = (11302.37+26088.2)/(1.596*2)________________________= 11713.84 DPS w/12% = 13119.5
    2 AB + MBarr = (11302.37+13336.8+30067.8)/(1.596*3)________________= 11425.85 DPS w/12% = 12796.95
    3 AB + MBarr = (11302.37+13336.8+15371.2+34047.3)/(1.596*4)________= 11600.51 DPS w/12% = 12992.57
    4 AB + MBarr = (11302.37+13336.8+15371.2+17405.6+38026.9)/(1.596*5)= 11960.26 DPS w/12% = 13395.49

This is napkin math not absolute, as you don't know to which casts 12% hastes will be applied to. You get the generalized idea.

12% haste is applied after the MBAM is cast, not when it procs. Also, 1 AB + MBarr is impractical if chain casting. You'd have to stop after the AB to see if it ticked (or cast AM anyway and deal with a really crappy 1 AB non-MB AM).

gotcha-i wasnt understanding where the disconnect was. sorry bronco-the cast doesnt haste itself, or your math would be right and it would make 100% sense to do it that way without any debate ever.

    the "4 AB + MBarr = (11302.37+13336.8+15371.2+17405.6+38026.9)/(1.596*5)= 11960.26 DPS w/12% = 13395.49"
line is wrong, as the MBAM is not hasted, which is where I got the 13080 instead of the 13400. I also gave the very generous upper end of the range for it to get these numbers, meaning at absolute best procs, the ab4 out dps's the ab3 model by 80 dps, ignoring mana entirely. If you use the cast time for the ab4mbam of 7.296, you get my 13080. Im sorry I didnt make it easy to read as i just threw it together in response to all the confusion, it wasnt originally intended for public consumption.

I find that keeping the haste buff from the T10 x2 is better than waiting till the 4 stacks for overall DPS. I almost always hit my AM after AM procs (and since I use a mouse button for AB with a macro keyed that is nochannel, I don't have to worry about killing the current AB). But YMMV, that is just what works for me.

You want to avoid using a nochannel macro. The channeling check is done client side, which prevents you from taking advantage of server-side spell queueing. It's not a huge dps loss on low latency connections when you're hammering the button, but on slower connections it can result in a significant gap between casts. Using Quartz and timing the spell casts is a superior (if less lazy) option.

I personally time my casts AM to maximize my PTL uptime. Taking a slight dps hit for significantly better mana consumption is useful, leaving me with more mana to spam AB when missile barrage doesn't proc.

    Respec fire.

Fixed that for you in two words.
