3.3.5 Extended Maintenance, Known Issues

Pretty sure this had happened after any major patch.....yes major patch. As far as i know ,this isnt a major patch on our side. 1 Raid zone, and the Battle.net new ID identifier. It's most likely this last point that they had issue with.

Exactly. This is a PVE game with PVP included. The biggest changes in the expansion are changes to the PVE environment. What would you like for them to say? Addressing class balance when not all of the talent trees are even completed?

They told us there would be an update at 4 but lied. 4 rolled around and they said they would have and ADDITIONAL update at 5.
Are they stoned? They didn't give us ANY new information at 4. All we are saying, those of us "QQing," is that we would at least like Blizz to own up to their failure and tell us things have gone wrong and they don't know when things will work. Maybe a little explanation of what issues are occurring.
Honestly, I'm surprised that the greatest game makers in the WORLD have this level of crap Customer Service.

The update at 4 was to say that they are still working on the patch and would update again at 5. Learn to read.

Sorry, but you're kind of an idiot. My friend's dad Troy worked for the makers of Guild Wars and his Co-worker was fired after not replying to people concerned when the game crashed.
Do you see Blizz in any big hurry to inform us of what is going wrong or when to actually expect things to get better?

You're the one that needs to read. They had already told us that maintenance was extended and that they needed more time to work on it.
That's what they said again at 3, they said they would give us an ADDITIONAL update at 4, but failed to follow through. In case you're confused an update would consist of NEW information.

Two things never change: downtimes for patches take (much) longer than expected, and people will complain about it. Ok, three: people will complain about people that complain. That's me!

Anyway, that's a pretty big known issues list. I guess they've spent most of their time on Halion. You know, a dragon with cleave, tailswipe, a damaging aura that justifies bringing your resto druids, fire on the floor... New stuff.

At least they could have fixed the drums and Tyrannus bugs, they're pretty annoying. The last is almost esoteric, every pug suggests a different process to avoid bugging him :P

Actually, you're the idiot. You cannot even begin to comprehend the complexity of all of the coding in this game. What do you think the extension on the maintenance is for? So Blizzard can have some private raiding sessions together? You're probably just upset you don't get to play WoW before bed time.

Since when does an update have to consist of new information? An update is an update. If they have nothing new to report would you rather them not say anything until they do? People bitch when they "keep players in the dark" and they bitch when they update every hour but don't give people what they want..../sigh

There was in fact new information - that they would again update us in another hour. While I'm sure various reasons are causing the extended downtime, they've never been ones to divulge the specifics. The only say that they are having issues, still working on it etc. They are still having issues and are still working on it - those were the updates whether they said the same things or not.
