Hey everyone, just letting you all know that there's currently a malware threat that tries to download a Trojan Keylogger onto your system.

Likely through exploitation of advertisements.
Usually NoScript and advertisement blocking will prevent those.
Ridiculous that adobe allows such functionality in flash at all and are constantly unable to prevent it happening.

There are valid reason for running scripts on many websites, which dodgy advertistements abusing that due to you enabling scripting widely to support the genuine uses.
Not sure if NoScript by enabling scripts on the Warlock's Den will still block those within the advertising or not.

The info is often times good enough for me to avoid the design flaws.

Same here. The massive adds also annoy me and the threads don't have enough depth to actually be interesting. I also think they have or had, moderators that abused power but are too slacky to remove double posts or redirect people to frequently asked questions.

The website is hideous and the information is often outdated or too superficial. The adds and frequent trojan attacks don't help it out either.

Warlock's Den at one point was a good website, very active, minimal adds etc... but no more.

Really I'd rather sift through WoWWIki pages for info rather then go to the keylogger's den

I like The Warlock's Den forums. I would never try to navigate the rest of the site.

used to use it a lot, but after the 5th alert of that kind stopped using it+ i didnt agree with it having goldselling adverts.
