tauren paladin sickens me... doesn't even make sense.. hell, tauren anything is annoying. hi, im a fat ugly cow and i take up 1/3 of the screen. (before you change settings lol) Not to mention they cover EVERYTHING... mail boxes, fish feasts, people... remember doing cleave bosses like mother sharaz with a tauren and their huge hit box screwing the cleave area? ya good times.... stupid cows...

On the topic of Night Elf Mages i think that it is more correct to say that they fear the consequences of using magic rather than hating magic as a whole, the idea behind adding them being to combat a necessary evil.
