Hungering Cold & Wandering Plague

In theory.. if you have two death knights, one with wandering plague, one with hungering cold
Would the wandering plague proccs break hungering cold? Does it count as disease damage, or "other" damage?

Disease damage and would not break Hungering Cold.

To elaborate, Wandering Plague will not break any form of CC.

Actually it being disease damage does count because WP should be an exception and allow you to HC a group that's under the disease effect and the diseases - including WP - keep ticking.

I believe the guy is asking because he wants to make a Frost/Unholy arena duo.

Hmm... I don't think I've ever thought about whether or not it still did damage to that target. I would think that it would/should, but I wouldn't be surprised if it didn't.

As far as I remember, Wandering Plague does not do damage to targets sitting in hungering cold. Thus, it doesn't break it either.

So if I 5v5 arena with 3 frost DKs and 2 unholy DKs, could we CC the entire team with 5 sets of dots and watch them die over 9 seconds?

Dots don't do that much damage, and HC is subject to DRs.

if someone trinkets, all focus them
when hungering cold runs out, pop another one
pick someone to all nuke, deathgrip them away, and pop all cd's on them. :>

Sure it has a DR, that doesn't mean you can't use it more than once.

The phrase "looks good on paper" comes to mind. Not sure if it'll work out how you want though.
