Worgen DO get their own city?

so i was quickly going over the front page and i saw this:

is it just me or do the worgen get their own city? as this is the city map

Well, you do run around there a bit when you're leveling a Worgen, and it sounds too cheep to just have the zone map showing when you in such a big city.

Also, Blizz was gonna have to make the Map for the BG anyways, so why not just edit it up some to make it look like a regular city map?

Compare the two maps in this topic. The mape of the potential capital looks FAR MORE ALIVE than the map of the BG: the square in front of the cathedral has blackened in the BG, and the colour tones are a little darker, reflecting the battle. Also, the streets have green stuff on them in map two - indicating that they have been abandoned for a while. (no idea what its called but outdoor stone floors turn green when theyre not maintained)

If it is, it's certainly unfinished. It doesn't have the flight path symbol like Org does.
I still remain hopefull though, Alliance need a city in that area.

I thought this part was well known, through the use of heavy phasing, both Goblins and Worgens do start with their own cities.
But after a certain part of the starter quests the cataclysm happens
Goblins one gets Volcanoed to bits (thus becoming uninhabitable)
Worgen one gets Raped by the Forsaken (causing the battleground to happen.)

If you to south silverpine on the overworld of the Eastern Kingdoms you enter a zone called "The Ruins of Gilneas" the wall is shattered, plague wagons everywhere, forsaken flags in the city, western Gilneas has sunk and the gates of the city are ruined, its canals drained.
Gilneas is not going to be a capital city, get over it.

That map is for The Battle of Gilneas City quest in the worgen starting area where you have to retake it from the forsaken, and where Sylvanas kills Greymane's son.

Neither race is getting a new capital city, that map of Gilneas City is just for the worgen starting area.

You see, there's this thing called phasing.


Obviously, when you make your character the city isn't under attack yet, and as you play through the quests you lose the city and it becomes the battleground.
