Just look the profession like BS, you can see thoses lvl81 blue weapon doing ~310dps.. when an epic lvl 80 have an average of 150-200dps.

That said, that overpowered gear is probably going to be necessary. Mob hp and damage increases dramatically.

I know i kinda died inside after spending weeks getting all my alts to 232 gear so it would be quicker to level them up then seeing the items and realising that all the stuff like banner of victory etc that i did like 50 od runs for will be replaced within a few minutes

I'd wager these are the final numbers. Blizzard has stated many times that they weren't big on top guilds getting the first World Firsts in Level 70 gear.

That and hp/damage scale up incredibly quickly.

just because its ilvl 300 and its on par with totc 25 stam trinket? keep in mind that the stats are measured by item quality too so it doesnt have be better just because it have higher item level.
