79 ELites int eh instances are giving a little over 1000 exp each... gonna be a SLLLLoooowwwwwww grind..

God I cannot stand slow leveling.......7 80s and it takes as long to lvl as in Wotlk but only 5 levels.............man thats gonna suck.

Well hopefully the Q's give a little more EXP... I certianly HOPE so...

One of the things they will watch is the zspeed of leveling.. if it's too slow they will reduce the EXP or perhaps increase Q reward

You're supposed to enjoy the levelling process and take in all the changes people are already slating with no valid reason.

There's not much point spending so much time making the game to peoples standards for people to just want to leave the content asap so they can sit in a city and grind dungeons with the dungeon tool!

That's what alts are for... this game is many differetn things to people.. try not to file everyone in yours.

they say at blizzcon 2009 thay it will be not so easy to get that 85. I'm quite good with that, it's dumb for me to get 85 in 3 days and clear expansion content in another week.

It's gonna take the same week it took from 70-80 for the people who don't want to go really fast. It's gonna take the same 1-2 days it takes top guilds. So what's it really matter how much exp you need? The quests in WotLK were ~20-26k, the quests in Cata are over 60k for some.

Thanks, Man! I know its going to take a alot of time this expansion with the 5 level thing. I figure I'll rush my main to 85 then enjoy the quests and content on my 7 other 80s

Oh btw I did the math and finished your chart (I'm assuming they are using the same number pattern as the first 2)

80-81: 2,222,649 xp
81-82: 3,893,449 xp
82-83: 5,656,629 xp
83-84: 6,844,521 xp
84-85: 7,528,973 xp

Don;t think you can extrapolate like that.. it starts low and slowly gets higher with each level.

No I mean.. everyone enjoys the game differently... iagine that with 11 million players.

Some enjoy the "race" to 80... the competetive raid progression... they may still enjoy leveling.. but can slow down and "savor" the content wih alts.... I have 8 80's.. so believe me I will have PLENTY of time to "savor" it.

In the mean time.. I wanna start "gobbling" up the Heroics and Raid content...

Current items stop at 80... oince you get to 85 you can grind out points to buy the new ones that work to 85.

While it was stated they would be 1-85.. I saw a Screenie that stated the new BoA "requires 80". Perhaps that was a bug.. I dunno

i think its been said that each zone will be ice corwn lvl of questing in terms of numbers and quality also storm peaks quality both zones were amazing questing

and the quest lines themselves are taken to the extreme far beyond those 2 great questing zones.

sooo arond 140 quests per zone possibly plus giant zones that phase in and out each giving some large amount of xp = around the same amount of time to hit 85 as it did to hit 80 and 70

I'm going to say the XP required to hit top level will be more than the last expansion.
And less than the next one.
