<Intent> ( www.intent-kt.com ) of Kel'thuzad is opening up recruitment for select classes. We're looking for great players to bolster our already great raid roster, and to meet people who want to raid with us through Wrath of the Lich King and beyond.
Who we are:
<Intent> is a tightly knit guild of excellent players and we pride ourselves on our ability to progress through bleeding-edge content while having fun at the same time. We are currently the top guild on the server. We are very openly communicative and are able to constantly strengthen all aspects of our guild through strong communication. When not in-game, we have incredibly active forums at our website, www.intent-kt.com . We stress performance, attendance, and an entertaining environment. The results of this are strong progression and a great gaming experience. We raid Monday through Thursday, 7pm to 11pm server(MST) every night. We avidly run 10man groups on weekends, which clear at least 11/12 hardmodes in ICC and have 12/12 in some groups.
Our current 25-man Hardmodes cleared:
14/14 Ulduar - World 100 Algalon
ToGC Insanity - World 142 Mad Skill
12/12 Normal ICC
12/12 Heroic ICC - World 176 / US 48 H. Lich King
What we are looking for and expect:
-Excellent raid attendance. If you are unable to raid, please be able to post in our Raid Absence forum ahead of time.
-Excellent experience. With instance attunements removed, there's alot less reasons a prospective recruit should not have experience with these zones. Regardless, there are some players who do not have access to these zones and knowledgeable prospects who are proactive and know how to play their class will be considered.
-Patience. Progress does not include first night kills. We want raiders who know what progression means, and what it takes to kill bosses. Few guilds kill the hardest encounter in the game on their first night of attempts.
-Preparation. We expect every single one of our active raiders to have read about and researched their role on every encounter, everyone should know what they have to do before our very first pull. This lessens the down time considerably.
-Gear. We understand Gear is easy to come by now. We firmly believe to recruit the player not the gear. That being said, you have to have enough gear to be competitive within a raid environment, and it must be properly gem'd, and enchanted. We are not recruiting players just stepping into heroic-modes, as the risk of gearing said player to be competitive is risky enough as it is.
-Knowledge and Learning ability. There is no such thing as someone who is perfect at their class. There are either changes to class mechanics or new gear choices that can change class mechanics. We expect our members to be proactive about maximizing the performance of their class, and knowing how to maximize that performance in different ways for every single boss encounter.
